Understanding why responses feel automatic often reduces shame and confusion — but knowledge alone does not shift nervous system state. That distinction matters, and later clusters and the In-Practice path address it directly.
The nervous system learned what it learned for good reasons. The same capacity for learning is what makes change possible.
