Our Transparency
Transparency means no surprises — here’s exactly how we’re funded, what happens to your data, and what we do when we make a mistake.
Our Commitments
We do not carry advertising. We do not sell user data. We do not accept funding that would compromise our editorial independence.
Every resource on this platform is free, and it will stay free. No content is ever placed behind a paywall.
We collect the minimum data necessary to run this platform. There is no tracking and no behavioral profiling.
Everything we publish is grounded in peer-reviewed science, established clinical practice, or documented wisdom traditions. Personal opinion is always labeled as such.
Crisis resources are accessible from every page of this platform, at all times.
Funding
FindingWellBeing.org is currently self-funded and built by one person, without institutional backing. We have not yet incorporated as a nonprofit, so donations right now are not tax-deductible — we’ll say clearly when that changes. Your support goes directly toward recovering the costs of building this platform and keeping it running.
How We Handle Your Data
We collect only what is necessary to run this platform. We do not sell your data, we do not track you across the web, and we do not build behavioral profiles.
Editorial Independence
No sponsor, donor, advertiser, or outside party has any influence over what we publish or how we frame it. These are the principles we hold ourselves to when publishing →
Every decision about content on this platform is made on its own merits, not to please a funding source.
Corrections & Accountability
We correct errors promptly and openly. When a significant correction is made to any article, we note it at the bottom of that article along with the date it was corrected. We would rather admit a mistake than let one stand.
