Deep Dive into Buddhist Contemplative Science

  • The phenomenology of meditative states — what practitioners actually report
  • Consciousness and cognition — where contemplative and scientific accounts meet
  • Advanced concentration — the jhanas and their modern interpretations
  • Emptiness and non-self — the philosophical claims examined carefully
  • Contemplative traditions in dialogue — agreements and genuine disagreements
  • The limits of these traditions — what they do and don’t address
  • Ethics in contemplative practice — the parts that get left out

This path is open. There are no prerequisites beyond what you bring with you.

A quiet note:

At launch, this path draws primarily from the
Buddhist contemplative tradition. Content from
other traditions — including Stoicism, Daoism,
and contemplative neuroscience — will be added
over time.

This path covers territory that includes Dark
Night phenomena, non-dual awareness, and
absorption states — experiences that can be
disorienting without context or support. Those
risks are explained within the content itself —
not as cautions at the door, but as part of
understanding the method honestly.

You are the one who knows your situation.
This path trusts you to use that knowledge.
